Redmond High scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning en route to a 7-5 baseball victory over Issaquah High on Thursday in the 4A Kingco playoffs at Woodinville High.

Redmond High scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning en route to a 7-5 baseball victory over Issaquah High on Thursday in the 4A Kingco playoffs at Woodinville High.

In the sixth, Brandon Burditt led off with a single followed by a Bryce Steckler single. Lucas Eliason doubled to drive in Burditt. Kyle Francis walked to load the bases. Daniel Bies singled scoring the tying runs in Steckler and Eliason. Milo Mincin doubled in the winning runs scoring Bies and Francis. Mincin also pitched the final five outs to get the win.

The Mustangs (16-6 overall) will next play in a bi-district game at 4 p.m. Monday at Edmonds Woodway with a state berth on the line.

Redmond beat Issaquah twice in the playoffs.
