Representatives of The Comic Stop, the comic specialty store at Redmond Town Center, will present a “Create Your Own Superhero!” workshop, from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24 at the Old Fire House Teen Center, 16510 NE 79th St. in downtown Redmond. Cost is $29. To register, call (425) 556-2300.

The class will provide participants with the basic foundations for drawing a human body and face and developing a costume and clothing to go with the powers and ideals their hero will possess to fight injustice. The event is geared to ages 13-19 and parents are also welcome.
