Monday, Oct. 22

Marijuana: At 1:25 a.m., Redmond police conducted a traffic stop at Novelty Hill Road and Avondale Road on Education Hill. The driver was arrested for possession of less than 40 grams of marijuana.

Sunday, Oct. 21

Trespass: At 8:43 p.m., Redmond police investigated a reported trespass at a grocery store in the 15800 block of Redmond Way downtown. The suspect was known to the store employees and the police.

Vehicle prowl: Redmond police responded to a park in the 19500 block of Redmond Road in reference to a vehicle prowl at 12:47 p.m. Among the items taken were a purse. The investigation is still active.

Saturday, Oct. 20

Shoplifting: Redmond police investigated a shoplifting report in the 16500 block of Northeast 74th Street downtown at 8:20 p.m. The suspects ran off with store merchandise. There is suspect information.

Robbery: At 5:34 p.m., Redmond police investigated a robbery with a firearm in the 8200 block of Avondale Way on Education Hill. The suspect had money stolen at gun point.

Marijuana: A suspended driver in the 10400 block Avondale Road was also found to be in possession of marijuana and was charged at 5:33 p.m.

Smashing pumpkins: Redmond police responded to two residences on Education Hill between 10:15 a.m. and 10:50 a.m., in reference to some stolen and smashed pumpkins.

Friday, Oct. 19

Vandalism: A UPS worker’s vehicle window in the 18000 block of Union Hill Road downtown was broken while he was working at 10:37 p.m. There is no suspect info.

Stolen vehicle recovery: A stolen vehicle was recovered at Southwest 118th Street and 18th Avenue Southwest in King County. The vehicle was damaged and unoccupied.

Shoplifting: At 6:19 p.m., Redmond police investigated the theft of alcohol from a grocery store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way downtown. Multiple suspects fled the area prior to police arrival.

Attempted burglary: Redmond police investigated the report of an attempted burglary in the 16700 block of Northeast 91st Street on Education Hill at 4:10 p.m. No suspect information is available at this time.

Grand theft auto: Redmond police responded to a reported auto theft at 9:54 a.m. that occurred at a hotel in the 7500 block of 164th Avenue Northeast downtown.

Thursday, Oct. 18

Phone Harassment: At 9:31 a.m., Redmond police took a report of telephone harassment from the 17200 block of Northeast 70th Street downtown.
