Rose Hill community meeting to discuss recent string of burglaries

The Redmond Police Department (RPD) will hold a Rose Hill community meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 to address a string of recent burglaries in the area.

The Redmond Police Department (RPD) will hold a Rose Hill community meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 to address a string of recent burglaries in the area.

The meeting will be held at Rose Hill Junior High School, at 13505 N.E. 75th St. in Redmond.

Police officials will discuss recent criminal activity in the area and how to get involved in with Neighborhood Watch, along with providing crime prevention tips.

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, but the discussion will be centered around the Rose Hill area of Redmond and Kirkland, according to Jim Bove, RPD community outreach facilitator.

RPD’s crime map shows that six of the 13 burglaries reported in the city since April 1 have been in the Rose Hill neighborhood.
