Acacia Foundation to hold an all-faiths dinner in Redmond

The Acacia Foundation is inviting neighbors for dinner to break bread with them on Aug. 27 at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse at 16600 N.E. 80th St.

The Acacia Foundation is inviting neighbors for dinner to break bread with them on Aug. 27 at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse at 16600 N.E. 80th St.

Iftar refers to the evening meal when Muslims break their fast during Ramadan. Next week’s dinner begins at 7:45 p.m. and Muslims and non-Muslims are invited.

The purpose is to bring people together to deepen relationships amongst members of all faiths and in the community. The Acacia Foundation is a nonprofit that aims to promote cross–cultural dialogue.
