State Sen. Andy Hill passed the fundraising mark of $500,000 in his campaign for re-election today, establishing him as the state's top legislative fundraiser.

State Sen. Andy Hill passed the fundraising mark of $500,000 in his campaign for re-election today, establishing him as the state’s top legislative fundraiser.

“I’m extremely humbled by the amount of support I’ve received from this community,” Hill stated. “My passion for service is resonating with voters and they are showing their support in a dramatic way. I made promises to change the way Olympia works and I’m proud to be recognized for those results.”

Hill, a PTA dad and soccer coach with deep roots in the community, was first elected in 2010 and is currently chairman of the Senate Ways and Means Committee and a member of the Senate Early Learning and K-12 Committee. He lives in Redmond with his wife and three children.
