Wednesday, Aug. 11 Reports of gunshots: Redmond Police responded to a residential area, the 16200 block of Northeast 99th Street, after several people reported hearing multiple gunshots nearby. The neighborhood was canvassed, but no evidence of a crime was found.

Reports of gunshots: Redmond Police responded to a residential area, the 16200 block of Northeast 99th Street, after several people reported hearing multiple gunshots nearby. The neighborhood was canvassed, but no evidence of a crime was found.

Family feud: Redmond Police responded to a 911 hang-up at a residence in the 1700 block of Northeast 92nd Street and determined an assault occurred between two adult sisters. Conflicting statements were obtained at the scene and one sister left prior to police arrival. The case will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review.

Underage drinking: A juvenile male was arrested for consuming alcohol at an elementary school in the 6100 block of 152nd Avenue.

Fraud: Unknown suspect(s) stole a victim’s debit card number by unknown means. The card was used to make two fraudulent withdrawls in California.

Tuesday, Aug. 10

Domestic disturbance: Redmond Police responded to a woman screaming for help in the 16100 block of Cleveland Street. The victim did not want to give details about her boyfriend hitting her. The boyfriend was not located.

Car prowl: A car was prowled at a sports complex in the 9000 block of Willows Road. The victim’s passenger’s side window was destroyed and a purse was stolen.

Theft: A victim left his wallet in a store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street. When he returned to retrieve it, the wallet was gone.

Monday, Aug. 9

Medical emergency: Redmond Police assisted Redmond Fire as they forced entry into a residence in the 15800 block of Northeast 93rd Way and found an unconscious woman. Redmond Fire was able to wake her and suspected a drug overdose. She was transported to Evergreen Hospital. Because the woman’s 7-year-old son was in the residence, this report is being forwarded to Child Protective Services.

Assault: Redmond Police responded to a report of an assault at the Bear Creek Safeway in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. After talking to the reporting party, there is probable cause to arrest the suspect for Assault 4th Degree.

Harassment: Redmond Police responded to a report of harassment at Redmond Way and 148th Avenue Northeast. No crime occurred. This is a civil issue between a male and female in the process of divorce.

Domestic violence: A report of domestic violence, at an apartment complex in the 16000 block of Northeast 85th Street, was investigated by Redmond Police.

Sunday, Aug. 8

Theft: Redmond Police observed a traffic infraction in the 16900 block of Redmond Way. Further investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle had committed theft. The suspect was arrested.

Scooting to jail: A male was arrested for being in possession of a stolen scooter at Northeast 90th Street and Willows Road. He also had two misdemeanor warrants.

DUI: In separate incidents, two Kirkland men were arrested for DUI, one at West Lake Sammamish Parkway and SR 520 and the other, in the 12800 block of Northeast 85th Street.

Vandalism: A Redmond resident’s car was vandalized by partygoers in the 11400 block of Avondale Road. No suspect information was available.

Saturday, Aug. 7

Fond of Hondas: A blue Honda Civic was stolen from a condominium parking lot in the 8000 block of 146th Avenue Northeast. In the same block that day, an unknown suspect attempted to steal a Honda Prelude. That vehicle was driven about 150 feet and then abandoned in the middle of the roadway inside the complex.

Threats: Redmond Police responded to an incident where a male brandished a stabbing instrument at a bar in the 15700 block of Redmond Way.

Car prowl: Suspect(s) smashed a window to gain access to a vehicle and stole a purse from the car at a park in the 9000 block of 196th Avenue Northeast.

Friday, Aug. 6

Suspicious circumstances: A citizen reported that an unknown person had listed his home for sale, in the 14200 block of Northeast 80th Place, as a home for rent online.

Shoplifting: Redmond Police responded to an attempted shoplift in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. The suspect was known to store security and set items down just inside the store, prior to leaving.

Assault: A Canadian man was arrested for assaulting a subject at a bar in the 7800 block of Leary Way.

DUI: Police arrested a Redmond female for DUI in the 14500 block of Redmond Way.

Thursday, Aug. 5

Shoplifting: Redmond Police responded to a shoplift in progress at a store in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road. All three suspects were arrested and an investigation is ongoing.

Domestic violence: A male was arrested for Assault 4th degree at an apartment complex in the 8100 block of 161s Avenue Northeast.

Trashed: A Redmond juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was contacted for a littering violation in the 8400 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. He was also found to be in possession of tobacco and marijuana.

Obstructing transit: A Tukwila teen was arrested for obstructing access to the transit facility in the 8100 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. He had been warned previously in the day and lied to officers about waiting for a bus.
