The Redmond High football team was unable to stop speedy senior running back Jerimiah Laufasa on Friday night at home, allowing him to score four times in a 41-7 non-league loss to the Juanita Rebels.
Laufasa ran in a 53-yarder in the second quarter which put the Rebels up 13-0, before Redmond responded with a drive and 2-yard score by quarterback Michael Conforto.
After that it was all Juanita as Laufasa scored on runs of 55, 1 and 6 yards in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
The Mustangs next play on the road this Friday against Lake Washington, which beat Garfield 34-2 in their season opener for just its third win in the last three seasons.
