The Redmond High baseball team enjoyed their third consecutive victory on Thursday night at Hartman Park, winning 3-2 over the Ballard Beavers.

The Beavers struck first, scoring a run in the top of the first off starter Peter Hendron, but the Mustangs answered in the second, taking the lead for good by plating a pair of runs on Ballard errors.

Paul Crane was the tough-luck loser for Ballard, as none of Redmond’s three runs were earned.

Hendron went 4 2/3 innings for the win while striking out five and allowing just three hits, with Cody Beliel coming on for the final 2 1/3 for the save.

Beliel and Hendron both shined offense as well, going 2-for-3.

With the win, Redmond improved to 2-4 in league play and 3-5 overall.
