At its monthly board of directors meeting on July 22, Friends of Youth (FOY) — which provides services in Redmond — welcomed new board member and Kirkland resident Justin von Gortler.
Currently a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley and previously the CEO of Pallino Pasteria Company and The Justin Agency, Inc., von Gortler brings financial and business expertise to the FOY board. Recently, von Gortler hosted a local tennis tournament that raised more than $2,000 for the FOY capital campaign, which funded the development of the agency’s Kirkland campus.
“Justin is joining Friends of Youth at an exciting time,” said FOY President and CEO Terry Pottmeyer. “We are in the final year of our strategic plan, which has guided the agency’s growth to better serve the homeless youth of our community. We look forward to Justin’s leadership as we continue to fulfill our vision of a world where every youth has every opportunity to succeed.”
FOY provides a range of therapeutic services for youth, young adults and their families to improve their emotional stability and self-sufficiency.
