The Redmond-based Family Resource Center will hold its 13th annual Eastside Volunteer Fair from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at Crossroads Mall, Northeast 8th Street and 156th Avenue in Bellevue.

Fifty agencies are expected to participate, including those devoted to human services, housing, health, the arts, education and community organizations. The entertainment stage will feature a variety of local cultural entertainment. A Party Hopper for children’s entertainment is also planned.

The Eastside Volunteer Fair is designed to provide a “one-stop” opportunity for community members to identify ways that they can make an impact as volunteers.

More than 40,000 Eastside residents, half of them children, receive assistance each year from the agencies located on the Family Resource Center campus at 16225 NE 87th St. in Redmond.

Major agencies at the Family Resource Center include Hopelink, Sound Mental Health, Friends of Youth, HealthPoint, Youth Eastside Services, Habitat for Humanity and many others.
